How did your passion for travel get started?
I have always had a passion for visiting the world I was a child. Where this wanderlust came from, I don’t understand, but it has been part of me.
Just how are you currently travel in any given calendar year? Which are the sorts of places you want to go to?
Well, I do have a house life, therefore I prefer to balance matters as much as I can. In the perfect world, I’d travel about 1 week. It’s a good average, although Obviously this varies throughout the year. I love going anywhere I have not been before. I am pleased to go about everywhere and have an insatiable curiosity.
You conduct LandLopers was called by a travel site. Would you tell us a little about it? What can it stand out of other travel material?
Because I understood that people are obsessive about travel as I am, I began the site in 2010 and I wished to share my own adventures. It was geared towards individuals who wished to get off the absolute most from the limited time and did not have months to invest travel. It’s still one of the goals of the site and, strangely enough, it’s still a rarity from the travel blogosphere.
You began a travel podcast called Explore the World with Matt Long, this year. Please tell us a little about it and what made you need to begin your podcast.
Sure, well I needed an added outlet and a way to reach individuals along with the podcast has been perfect. It’s re-energized me and given me the chance to split the travel experience in a way that was different. It’s a good deal of fun along with the weekly guests so much are a group that I think share some extraordinary info.
You created LandLopers and Explore the Earth with Matt Long without much.
What advice would you give to someone who would like to blog their travels but isn’t tech-savvy?
And I still don’t have any experience. However, when it came time to begin the blog and podcast I simply sat down and read as much as I could. Each of the information is on the market, you only have to be ready to learn and try new things.
What do you want audiences to get and learn from the job?
I need them to be inspired to see more of this planet, I need fear to be rejected by them and that I need them to think about other individuals in ways that are various.
